MyQuire Announces RAPIDGrant – A Program to Recognize Innovative Non-Profit Organizations.

MyQuire to grant $5,000 to a non-profit organization using an innovative approach to help solve a problem.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA – October 3, 2007 – MyQuire, (www.myquire.com), announced today that on November 23, 2007 the company will award a single $5,000 grant to the MyQuire non-profit member who most successfully demonstrates the spirit of innovation in its work.

MyQuire is an online tool for doing projects. Founder and CEO David Steinberg started the company with a goal of solving a problem for himself and for the world - ending the frustration associated with getting work done with people who aren’t in the same location. The result was MyQuire which lets members work wherever they are with tools they know, collaborate in real time, and connect their projects to their personal and professional networks.

The company has established the RAPIDGrant program as a way to recognize the work of its non-profit members who are finding creative and innovative ways to address some of the worlds’ most pressing problems.

Steinberg commented "MyQuire is a powerful tool that’s easy to use and to adopt throughout an organization. This makes it ideally suited to non-profit organizations. Our non-profit members tell us MyQuire helps them expand the scope of their work by enabling a larger group of staff and volunteers to work together. We’re inspired by the amazing work these organizations are doing and we’re proud that MyQuire is helping them work more efficiently, save time and money, and achieve their missions. We’re a business that’s working to address an old problem in a new way and we wanted to honor a non-profit organization that’s aligned with that spirit of innovation."

MyQuire will select the non-profit applicant best able to illustrate how its creative approach is making a difference in the world. Eligible organizations must have at least one registered MyQuire member. Preference in judging will be made to entrants actively using MyQuire to create projects of scale and significance. There are no restrictions as to the community served. Complete program information including eligibility requirements and application materials can be found at http://blog.myquire.com/articles/2007/10/02/announcing-myquire-rapidgrant. All entries must be received by November 12, 2007 and the winner will be announced on November 23.
