MyQuire Wins Silicon Valley Business Journal's Emerging Technology Award
MyQuire earns top honors among strong field of companies in the Collaboration category
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CALIFORNIA – November 20, 2007 – MyQuire, (www.myquire.com), announced that it is the winner of the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal's Emerging Technology Awards (ETA) in the Collaboration category. Designed to celebrate tomorrow's leaders today, the Emerging Technology Awards honor Silicon Valley's spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship. Three finalists were named within the Collaboration category and MyQuire’s online tool for doing projects was named as the winner during an awards ceremony on November 2nd in Mountain View.
MyQuire was founded last year by David Steinberg who was interested in making it easier for people to get work done together. Steinberg had personally felt that pain of working on projects without effective collaboration tools and began working to develop technology to help solve the problem for himself and others. An early version of the site went live earlier this year and the company plans to launch a more robust version in December.
